दोस्तो ये पेड़ कोलकाता, हावड़ा के शिवपुर (प• बंगाल ) Acharya jagdeesh chandra boss Indian botanic garden मे है।
Friends, these trees are in Kolkata, Howrah's Shivpura (west Bengal) Acharya Jagdeesh Chandra Boss Indian Botanic Garden.

जब 1773 मे east india company ने कोलकाता को अपनी राजधानी बनायी थी, और 14 साल बाद 1787 मे जब Acharya jagdeesh chandra boss Indian botanic garden बना तब इसकी उम्र लगभग 20 साल होगी, तो इस हिसाब से आज इसकी उम्र लगभग 250 साल है । ये पेड़ जितनी जगह मै फैला हुआ है उसका क्षेत्रफल 14,500 वर्ग मीटर यानिकी 4.67 एकङ है।और इसकी ऊंचाई लगभग 24.5 मीटर यानिकी the getway of india से थोड़ी कम।जब पहली बार 1850 मै इसकी जनगणना हुई तब इसकी 89 शाखाएँ थी और आज इसकी 3772 शाखाएँ हैं ।

1884 और 1887 मे जब दो चक्रवात आऐ थे तब इसकी मुख्य जड़ infected हो गई थी जिसे न चाहते हुए 1925 मे 50 feet तक काटना पड़ा, अगर ऐसा नही करते तो infection दूसरी जड़ों मे फैल जाता ।
In 1884 and 1887, when there were two cyclones, its main root was infected, which was not required to cut up to 50 feet in 1925, if not doing so, then Infection spreads to the other roots.
